Britney Spears has recently announced her engagement with her long term partner Sam Asghari. He proposed with a classic round diamond solitaire ring, which perfectly matches Britney’s effervescent and sweet persona. Britney and Sam have been dating for over five years, and following a tumultuous time in the pop star’s life, we think it’s due time this beautiful couple had reason to celebrate!
Britney shared news of her engagement through a video posted on her Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy over her diamond engagement ring. In the video, Sam asks her if she likes her ring and she yells out, “yes!”. Sam’s talent manager Brandon Cohen officially confirmed the engagement, stating “the couple made their long standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them”.

The couple met in 2016 on the set of Britney’s music video for her song “Slumber Party”. Sam reportedly charmed her, playfully asking her “what’s your name again?” when she introduced herself—a joke he later feared she didn’t get! But his approach paid off and soon the two exchanged numbers and began dating.
The ring is a completely classic design featuring a 4ct round brilliant diamond set on a platinum band. We estimate the cost of this engagement ring to be about £74,500.
